This is a personal project inspired by the historic Gramercy Mansion in Stevenson, Maryland. I had the privilege of living in a cottage on the property and could not believe how beautiful the grounds were. My experience and photographs inspired Apértif, a place where guests could enjoy light fare and drinks while strolling through the gardens. Apértif is a reminder that we should stop and taste amongst the flowers.
